Kontio AutoKruiser: a three-wheeled, safe and comfortable two-seater moped
The Kontio AutoKruiser is a two-seater
three-wheeled moped that offers driving comfort and
safety comparable to a car. The closed protective body keeps you warm and protected from the
weather, so you can ride comfortably indoors even in bad weather.
The convenient sunroof provides cooling in the summer heat, and the reversing camera
helps you navigate tight spaces easily. The high-quality
sound system with Bluetooth and USB connections provides a pleasant
music experience during your trip. The AutoKruiser's large doors
and flat floor make it easy to get on and off and provide plenty of
of legroom.
A moped license is required to drive the AutoKruiser if you were born after
1985. The vehicle must be registered and
insured, and the age limit for driving it is 15 years.
Ability to meet everyday challenges
The Kontio Autokruiser's 200mm ground clearance ensures that the journey is not interrupted by small obstacles, and the approximately 90° door opening angle makes it considerably easier to get into the vehicle. The Autokruiser is also equipped with several standard features that improve comfort and safety.
Additional kilometers with a lithium battery
The Kontio Autokruiser is also available with a
long-life lithium battery, which can be used to extend the operating range even further. The service life of lithium batteries is
considerably longer compared to a traditional lead-acid battery.
Replacing the battery from lead to lithium includes a complete handover maintenance of the vehicle.
*The operating range may vary significantly,
depending on, among other things, the driver's driving style, the regularity of charging,
outside temperature, weather conditions, the hilliness and surface of the terrain,
the use of lights or other electrical devices while driving,
tire pressures, the weight of passengers and load, and whether the
batteries are driven with cold batteries. For these reasons, the actual operating range may
deviate significantly from the operating range we tested downwards, but
also to some extent upwards. The driving range on a single charge decreases as the battery
is charged more often.
The driving range has been measured for a 90 kg driver
in varying early autumn conditions on the paved streets of Kouvola
and cycle paths under real operating conditions. The route has included
many stops and hills. The result has been calculated based on several different test drives,
from which the lowest achieved range has been selected and rounded
down to the nearest
kilometer.
